Bengali Society of Florida (BSF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit preserving Bengali culture and building community in Central Florida since 1982.
BSF brings together Bengali families across generations through cultural celebrations, educational initiatives, community service, and year-round programming anchored by our flagship Durga Pujo festival.
A Proud Moment for BSF
In 2025, the Bengali Society of Florida was honored by The India Center at the University of Central Florida during India’s Republic Day ceremony. The recognition was presented by Mr. Ramesh Babu Lakshmanan, Consul General of India, Atlanta, for BSF’s contribution to promoting Bengali culture and strengthening community engagement in Central Florida.

Community Impact Beyond Celebrations
BSF’s role goes beyond cultural events. Through drives, volunteering efforts, and partnerships such as our recent toy drive with Addison’s Toy Chest, we thrive to create meaningful impact in the wider community while keeping our cultural roots alive.
